Gless Ranch Fruit Stand
This project includes the major façade rehabilitation of a 4,100 square foot fruit stand — with historic significance — and its conversion into a Craftsman-style building, which will potentially serve as a design parameter for a future shopping center currently occupied by orange groves. The Gless family was among the post-World War II citrus growers who planted in the southeast part of the city. Their fruit stand has been in operation for nearly four decades. Construction on the redesign is estimated to be completed by late 2015, four months ahead of schedule.
